Allied Universal® in Miami, FL seeks a Security Officer Full Time Armed Perimeter Patrol to safeguard government facilities and personnel. You will perform armed patrols, control access, and respond to incidents while delivering exceptional customer service in a trusted security team environment.

The role requires an Armed Guard Card/License, 21+ years old, and a high school diploma; additional credentials like CPR are preferred.

Qualifications

• Armed Guard Card/License required.
• DD214 with Honorable Discharge or Associates Degree/60 credits or Police/Corrections Academy certificate.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be 21+ with high school diploma.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• State/local licensing may apply.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following site procedures and access-control protocols.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry points, verify authorization, and report suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Document patrol activity and communicate information to supervisors and responders.
