Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Driver Patrol Threat Detection Security Guard in Miami, FL. This full-time role involves patrolling government facilities, enforcing access controls, and responding to incidents with professionalism.

Applicants must hold an Armed Guard Card/License, a valid driver’s license, and undergo background checks. A DD214, an associates degree or police/corrections academy certificates are acceptable qualifications. 21+ and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Armed Guard Card/License is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• DD214 with Honorable Discharge OR an Associates Degree/60 College Credits OR Police Academy/Corrections Academy Certificate.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered per applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff while enforcing site procedures and access-control requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeters; report unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and disturbances in a calm, professional manner and contact emergency personnel when needed.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries per government facility protocols.
• Prepare clear reports and maintain activity logs for patrols and incidents.
