Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license in the state of the job location.
• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience or a college degree.
• Armed guard card or license required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Background check required under federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and the public by enforcing site-specific access control procedures.
• Monitor entry/exit points at a government location; verify IDs, credentials, and authorization before access.
• Maintain access-related records, visitor logs, and incident documentation; communicate concerns to site personnel.
• Respond to incidents in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
