This full-time driving post requires a valid driver’s license, Texas Level III Armed Certification, and a 21+ age minimum; you’ll join a team committed to integrity and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal policy.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by following site procedures and responding to emergencies.
• Conduct armed patrols of store interior, exterior, parking areas, and perimeter to deter security concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report suspicious behavior to site contacts or law enforcement.
• Document patrols and incidents in required reports with accuracy.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail grocery location.


• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the store interior, exterior, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.


• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or law enforcement.


• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately in required reports, maintaining a professional presence while helping to deter criminal activity.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.


• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.


• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
