Job summary

HBC Management Services, Inc. is seeking an Armed Protective Security Officer to provide armed security for SSA facilities.

You will perform access control, screening, patrols, emergency response, credentialing, and enforcement of post orders to protect employees, visitors, and Government property. The role requires MD security license and handgun permit, age 21+, US citizenship or lawful permanent residency, and SSA suitability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years armed security experience within past five years.
• Minimum of 1 year law enforcement experience in full-duty status with a US police department.
• Minimum of 2 years honorable service as a member of US Armed Forces, National Guard, or Reserve.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of Post Orders and SSA security procedures.
• Perform access control, screening, and patrol functions.
• Operate security equipment and systems (x-ray, metal detectors, cameras, alarms).
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with first responders.
• Prepare incident reports and maintain logs.
• Credentialing and visitor management using SSA systems.
• Operate SSA security and access-control systems as assigned.
