Job summary

Strategic Security (SSC) seeks an Armed Security Guard to provide a visible security presence inside a government facility in Georgia. The role requires professionalism, strong situational awareness, and the ability to responsibly carry an armed firearm in accordance with state laws and company policy.

Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring CCTV and access control, controlling entry/egress, reporting incidents, and coordinating with local law enforcement as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess State Licensed Armed Security Guard Card/License if required by locality.
• Proven ability to follow orders and work under direction.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible security presence in an indoor government facility.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and access control systems.
• Control entry points and verify authorized access.
• Document incidents and prepare detailed reports.
• Respond to incidents and coordinate with law enforcement.
• Maintain professional post area and assist with basic first aid when needed.
