Job summary

Strategic Security (SSC) seeks an Armed Security Officer to patrol and protect client sites, including government, corporate, retail, and fast food environments. You will monitor CCTV, control entry points, write detailed incident reports, and engage customers with SSC's GET principles.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, an armed security license, and HR 218 handgun carry credentials. Prior security experience preferred; professional demeanor and integrity are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old or legal minimum in the state.
• US citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to operate radio/telephone equipment and monitors.
• Provide, upon offer, a DD214 if prior military service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct armed foot patrol in various settings and environments.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems; control access and egress.
• Compose timely reports on incidents and suspicious activities.
• Engage with customers and staff using SSC's G.E.T. principles.
• Deterrence of crime, respond to emergencies, coordinate with authorities.
