Job summary

Strategic Security (SSC) is seeking an armed Security Officer to perform patrols in government, corporate, retail, and other environments. You will ensure safety, deter threats, and provide exceptional service to customers, visitors and employees.

Responsibilities include monitoring CCTV and alarm systems, controlling access, composing reports, and coordinating with local law enforcement as needed. The role offers full-time hours and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must hold a valid armed security guard card/licence where required
• Pass a background check and drug screening
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to monitor CCTV and perform patrols

Responsibilities

• Conduct foot patrols in assigned environments
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems
• Control access and egress to facilities
• Prepare incident and daily activity reports
• Greet and assist customers, visitors and employees
• Deter criminal activity and respond to incidents
