Job summary

Strategic Security (SSC) seeks an Armed Security Officer to perform armed foot patrols across government, corporate, retail or fast-food sites. You will monitor CCTV and alarms, control entry points, and deter misconduct while delivering excellent customer service.

You will also prepare reports, respond to incidents, and coordinate with local police as required. A valid armed security license and relevant experience are essential for this full-time role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State licensing for armed security required where applicable.
• HR 218/handgun carry license or local equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct armed foot patrol in government, corporate, retail or food environments.
• Compose reports and monitor CCTV/alarm systems; control access and egress.
• Deter criminal activity and misconduct; assist with basic first aid and incident reporting.
• Liaise with local law enforcement and guide patrons to destinations as needed.
