Job summary

Strategic Security Corp in Bowling Green, KY is seeking an Armed Security Officer for a seasonal, hourly role. You will conduct armed patrols, monitor CCTV, control access, and deter threats in government, corporate, retail or fast food environments. You will also prepare reports and liaise with local law enforcement.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a State licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle.
• Pass and possess a State Licensed Armed Security Guard Card / License
• Possess a HR 218 Unrestricted Handgun Carry License or a County / Town Handgun Carry License for the Area you will be working in

Responsibilities

• Conduct armed foot patrol within designated environments and deter wrongdoing.
• Compose reports, monitor CCTV and alarm systems.
• Control access and egress; assist with basic first aid.
• Make emergency notifications and liaise with local law enforcement.
• Guide customers/visitors to destinations and address inquiries.
