Job summary

Strategic Security (SSC) seeks an Armed Security Guard to protect people, property and assets in government, corporate, retail, or commercial settings. You will maintain a visible armed presence and follow post orders, use-of-force policies, and applicable laws.

Responsibilities include armed patrols, monitoring CCTV and access control, reporting incidents, de-escalating situations, and coordinating with law enforcement.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a State licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle.
• Pass and possess a State Licensed Armed Security Guard Card / License if required by your State / City / Locality.
• Verifiable work history; 1 year as a security officer preferred.

Responsibilities

As an Armed Security Guard, you will be responsible for protecting people, property, and assets while maintaining a visible armed security presence within a government, corporate, retail, or commercial environment. This role requires strict adherence to post orders, use-of-force policies, and all applicable federal, state, and local laws.Armed officers are expected to exercise sound judgment, maintain situational awareness, and respond appropriately to security threats, emergencies, and criminal activity. Responsibilities include conducting armed patrols, monitoring surveillance and alarm systems, controlling access points, deterring criminal behavior, and preparing detailed incident reports.In addition to security enforcement, this role supports SSC’s G.E.T.
