KRE Security, LLC is actively seeking an Armed School Security Officer to join our team in Elliottsburg, PA. This full-time daytime position requires Act 235 certification, a HS diploma or GED, and completion of necessary background checks.

You will patrol, monitor entrances, and enforce school safety policies to maintain a secure learning environment. Compensation includes meaningful benefits and potential overtime with a weekday daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• Background checks: PSP, Child Abuse Clearance, FBI fingerprint clearance.
• Reliable transportation and a valid PA Driver's License.
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a visible armed security presence on school property.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols of the campus.
• Monitor entrances and verify visitors.
• Enforce school safety policies and follow emergency procedures.
• Respond professionally to emergencies and security incidents.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs and incident reports.
• Coordinate with school administration and local law enforcement as needed.

Location: Elliottsburg, PA

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:15 AM–3:45 PM

KRE Security, LLC is seeking dependable, professional Armed School Security Officer to join our team.

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference by helping maintain a safe and secure learning environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. We are looking for individuals with sound judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.

Please Note: Candidates must successfully complete an interview with both KRE Security, LLC and the client before placement.

Position Highlights

• $22.00 per hour
• Consistent weekday daytime schedule
• Full-time employment during the school year
• Overtime paid after 40 hours worked
• Military and retired law enforcement differential of an additional $0.25 per hour
• Benefits eligibility for employees working 30 or more hours per week
• Paid time off accruing up to 40 hours, beginning after the probationary period

***Client contract requires Daytime School Guard to attend School events/sports/meetings as requested by district. This is a component of this position, and candidates should expect to work some additional hours.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid Pennsylvania Act 235 Certification
• High school diploma or GED
• Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check
• Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance
• FBI fingerprint clearance
• Reliable transportation and valid PA Driver's License
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
• Professional appearance, sound judgment, and strong communication skills
