KRE Security, LLC is seeking an Armed School Security Officer to join our team in Elliottsburg, PA. The role requires Act 235 certification and PA background clearances; you will protect a school campus and ensure safety for students and staff.

Compensation is $22.00 per hour with full-time hours and overtime after 40 hours. Candidate must pass client and KRE Security interviews and be able to work a Monday–Friday day schedule.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid PA Act 235 certification.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Background checks include Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance and FBI fingerprint clearance.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a visible armed security presence on school property.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols of the campus.
• Monitor entrances and verify visitors.
• Enforce school safety policies and follow emergency procedures.
• Respond professionally to emergencies and security incidents.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs and incident reports.
• Coordinate with school administration and local law enforcement as needed.
• Help protect students, staff, and visitors in a safe learning environment.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:15 AM-3:45 PM

Please Note: Candidates must successfully complete an interview with both KRE Security, LLC and the client before placement.

Position Highlights

***Client contract requires Daytime School Guard to attend School events/sports/meetings as requested by district. This is a component of this position, and candidates should expect to work some additional hours.**

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Valid Pennsylvania Act 235 Certification
• High school diploma or GED
• Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check
• Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance
• FBI fingerprint clearance
• Reliable transportation and valid PA Driver's License
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
• Professional appearance, sound judgment, and strong communication skills
