Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Specialist in Lynchburg, VA. You will monitor areas, conduct patrols, deter incidents, respond to alarms, and deliver excellent customer service in a manufacturing and industrial setting.

Position Type: Full Time; Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour; Schedule includes Night shifts. Minimum requirements include high school diploma or equivalent, Law Enforcement or Military Police training, and 21+ for armed roles; preferred alarm panel and baton

Qualifications

Graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Baton certification is preferred.
Armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Background check and drug screen required by policy.
Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following site policies and emergency procedures.
Conduct armed patrols of facilities, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain logs and incident documentation.
Handle equipment in compliance with laws, training, and company policies.
