Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Threat Detection in Newport News, VA. You will safeguard clients across manufacturing and industrial locations, conduct patrols, deter incidents, and respond to security concerns. An armed guard card or license is required.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $17.95 / Hour. Schedule includes Evening shifts following the posted times.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while following site policies.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Verify credentials, screen visitors, and document entry/exit per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and follow post orders.
• Prepare clear reports of incidents and patrols for site leadership.
