Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer Patrol in Fort Lupton, CO to protect government facilities and other sites. This part-time role offers flexible daytime shifts and a chance to contribute to safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A background investigation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to government facility staff, visitors, and the public while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and coordinate with emergency responders and site contacts.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorized entry, and maintain logs and incident reports.
• Carry and maintain assigned equipment in accordance with laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site procedures.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to government facility staff, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions or hazards.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and coordinate with appropriate emergency responders and/or site contacts.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorized entry, and maintain required activity logs, patrol documentation, and incident reports.
• Carry and maintain assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
