• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Background checks and drug screen required by law.

As a Armed Security Officer Platform Patrol in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government transit location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at transit facilities.


• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following applicable laws, policies, and reporting procedures.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, offices, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.


• Perform armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal training, client requirements, applicable laws, and established use-of-force guidelines.


• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.


• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.


• Have 1+ years of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.


• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.


• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
