Job summary

Allied Universal® in Denver, CO is seeking an Armed Security Officer Driving Patrol to safeguard riders and staff at a public transit location. You will perform armed patrols, respond to incidents, and maintain a professional presence while delivering excellent customer service.

This full-time role requires one year of security experience, an armed guard card, and a valid driver’s license. You’ll work a rotating schedule with early and late shifts, joining a team that values integrity,

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Tue: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Wed: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Thur: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Fri: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at transit facilities and surrounding property.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, vehicle access points, administrative areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable site procedures and use-of-force requirements.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, assist with crowd management during peak travel periods or special events, and report observed hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and daily logs; communicate relevant information to site representatives, dispatch, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
