Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer Patrol in Fort Lupton, CO for a Part-Time schedule. You will perform armed patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents, and provide excellent customer service to government facility staff and the public.

The role requires at least one year of armed security or related experience, high school diploma, and the ability to work weekends with a background check and drug screening as required.

Qualifications

• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required where permitted by law.
• License requirements may apply depending on state/local rules.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to government facility staff, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and coordinate with emergency responders.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorized entry, and maintain incident reports and logs.
• Carry and maintain assigned equipment in accordance with laws, policies, and site procedures.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to government facility staff, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions or hazards.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner and coordinate with appropriate emergency responders and/or site contacts.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorized entry, and maintain required activity logs, patrol documentation, and incident reports.
• Carry and maintain assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site‑specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
