Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Specialist in Woodstown, NJ, offering fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional hours through the scheduling platform. This role emphasizes dependable hours, customer service, and adherence to post orders.

To qualify, candidates should have 3+ years of security or related experience or a college degree, be 21+, and be able to pass background checks and a drug screen.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security‑related experience, or a college degree.
• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program, or equivalent.
• Possess a Corrections Officer License.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Minimum age 21 for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen per law.
• Participate in security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and agency personnel while carrying out security‑related procedures and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following post orders and reporting protocols.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor activity and incidents in reports.
• Maintain armed‑post qualifications and handle equipment in accordance with laws and Allied Universal policies.
