Qualifications

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• At least 1 year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• At least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may vary by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access‑control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required armed post qualifications, follow applicable laws and Allied Universal procedures, and complete accurate activity and incident reports.
