Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Part Time Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Mission, TX. You will perform armed vehicle and foot patrols, deter incidents, respond to security concerns, and provide exemplary customer service at a retail location.

A valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification are required. The role is part-time with set evening/weekend shifts and opportunities to grow via our Shift-claim platform.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Level III Armed Certification required in Texas.
• Armed Guard Card/License preferred.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel while carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, contacting emergency services or site leadership when needed.
• Conduct regular armed patrols throughout retail areas, receiving/loading areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions, reporting concerns per site procedures.
• Complete required reports and maintain clear communication with supervision and store personnel.

This driving role requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or site leadership when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, receiving and loading areas, parking lots, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Complete required reports, maintain clear communication with Allied Universal supervision and store personnel, and follow applicable laws and armed post protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas.
• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
