Qualifications

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Experience with access control and badges is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Participation in security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and property perimeter to identify and report issues.
• Respond to incidents calmly, notify appropriate personnel, and document activities per site procedures.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and vendor activity, and support adherence to entry procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and security observations.
