Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Armed Patrol Access Control in Alexandria, VA. You will provide professional security at a government location, patrol interior and exterior areas, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with calm, clear communication.

This role emphasizes customer service, reliability, and adherence to site policies. Eligible candidates must have an armed guard card or license, 3+ years of security-related experience, and be at least 21 years

Qualifications

• Armed guard card or license required.
• At least 3 years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as applicable by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a government location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain situational awareness.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies with calm, clear communication.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of interior/exterior areas and report observations.
• Maintain firearms qualifications and complete required reports/logs.
