What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, government-facility policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorization as required, and maintain awareness of vehicle and pedestrian activity entering and leaving the property.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established procedures and coordinating with appropriate personnel or public agencies.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
