Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Protection Patrol in Chapel Hill, NC. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires 2+ years in law enforcement or related field, an armed guard card, and a high school diploma. This is a full-time, on-site position with rotating day/evening shifts and a competitive hourly pay of $20.60.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, documenting unusual activity and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation, while handling assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
