Position type: Full Time. Pay rate: $20.34/hour. You must meet armed security requirements, pass background checks, and obtain/licensing as needed. A strong safety mindset and clear communication are essential.

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following security procedures.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry, reporting suspicious activity and policy violations.
• Prepare incident reports and daily activity logs as required.

As a Armed Security Officer - Day Shift in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $20.34 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 06:45 AM - 06:15 PM
• Tue 06:45 AM - 06:15 PM
• Wed 06:45 AM - 06:15 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and applicable procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry as directed, reporting suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
