Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks an Armed Security Officer for overnight watches in Las Vegas, NV. This part-time role focuses on patrolling, customer service, and maintaining a visible security presence at a busy retail/mall location.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, monitoring access points, and collaborating with staff to deter security risks. Required: 3+ years of relevant security experience, Armed Guard Card, and a background check;

Qualifications

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or armed security experience.
• Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter unauthorized entry, theft-related activity, and policy violations.
• Carry and maintain assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal requirements, applicable laws, and site-specific policies.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or armed security experience
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
