As a Armed Security Officer - Day Shiftin Las Vegas, NV, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.86 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeTue07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, location‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following applicable procedures and reporting requirements.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required armed post qualifications, equipment, and documentation in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable laws and regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or armed security experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
