Qualifications

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or armed security experience.
• Armed guard card or license.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, tenants, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
• Complete accurate reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation, and communicate information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, tenants, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or armed security experience
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
