Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking an Armed Security Officer – Louetta Rd. in Houston, TX to safeguard clients across Retail/Malls and related sites.

You will conduct routine armed patrols, maintain a visible presence, deter incidents, and respond professionally while providing excellent customer service. Requirements include a Texas Level III Armed Certification, a valid driver’s license, 21+ age, and 3+ years of combined law

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer, visitor, and employee activity for unusual conditions or policy concerns; report observations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required armed post equipment and complete accurate activity, incident, and daily reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

As a Armed Security Officer - Louetta Rd. in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to situations as they arise. A valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification are required. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while supporting Allied Universal’s caring, reliable, and integrity-driven team.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

• Active Armed Guard Card/License
• Valid Driver's License
• 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Corrections/Military OR 5+ Years Armed Security Experience

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements

• Must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
