Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer in Houston, TX for a full-time daytime schedule. The role requires a valid driver’s license and Texas Level III Armed Certification, with 3+ years in security or 5+ years armed security experience. You will patrol, deter incidents, and provide customer service in a retail setting.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to clients, customers and employees while following site policies.
• Conduct routine armed patrols and deter incidents to protect property and people.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with emergency services as needed.
• Complete accurate security-related reports and maintain documentation.
• License and certification requirements are job prerequisites.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular armed patrols throughout the store and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious behavior or policy violations per site procedures.
• Complete activity reports and maintain documentation for incidents and patrols.
