Job summary

Allied Universal in Reno, NV is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Perimeter Security. The role offers flexible, fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts through our platform, and pay rate of $22.35 per hour.

Responsibilities include patrolling, access control, and incident response at a government site. Minimum requirements include at least 6 months of security experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• 18+ years for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction and access control.
• Respond calmly to incidents and emergencies following established protocols.
• Prepare reports and maintain logs and communications per site procedures.
