Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Emergency Response Driver for Reno, NV. The role offers flexible hours with a fixed Saturday shift and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

A paid sign-on bonus is available for armed roles, and the position emphasizes reliable, responsible security support for government locations. Pay rate is $25.00 per hour, with a six-month site commitment and potential to grow into a full-time

Qualifications

3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience, or a college degree.
A valid driver’s license is required.
Armed guard card or license preferred.
Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
Background check and drug screen required.
Licensing requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following site-specific procedures and emergency response activities at a government location.
Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations with calm, professional problem-solving.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry, documenting visitor activity and incidents.
Maintain armed post qualifications and handle assigned equipment per Allied Universal policies and laws.
