Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Response in San Francisco, CA. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts via the scheduling platform, enabling flexible hours and potential earnings beyond the base schedule.

Pay rate is $34.32 per hour, with a daytime shift from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM and a six-month anchor commitment at a designated site.

Qualifications

• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and government facility personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government office areas, building perimeters, entrances, parking areas, and other designated locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verifying credentials and directing individuals to appropriate locations as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
