Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Enhanced Part Time Unarmed for a San Francisco, CA site. The role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts via the scheduling platform to increase earnings.

You will provide customer service, perform security procedures, respond to incidents, and patrol assigned areas to deter wrongdoing while ensuring compliance with site policies. It is a part-time position with consistent hours.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of security-related experience required.
Customer service experience preferred.
Guard card or license preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Background check and drug screen required by law.
Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as required by site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization, and maintain incident and patrol documentation.
Assist with maintaining an orderly environment while reporting suspicious activity and policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
