Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced - Armed Response in San Francisco, CA. The role offers flexible shifts and a fixed anchor schedule with a six-month commitment, plus opportunities to pick up extra shifts to boost earnings.

Pay rate is $34.32 per hour with a plan to allow earning more through the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program. The position supports career development within a leading North American security company.

Qualifications

• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess at least one year of law enforcement experience, at least two years of security-related supervisory or manager experience, or at least three years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a government financial regulatory location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and building perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit operations.
• Prepare accurate activity logs and incident reports, communicate observations to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel, and maintain a professional presence throughout the location.
