Allied Universal in Universal City, TX is seeking an armed security officer for a flexible, part-time role designed to provide reliable hours and opportunities to earn more by picking up shifts at multiple sites.

The position offers a fixed-shift anchor and a “Earn More, Claim-A-Shift” program, with duties including armed patrols, access control, incident response, and customer service. Pay is $15.50 per hour, with a six-month commitment and part-time hours up to 40 per week as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service in a security environment is preferred.
• Armed officer role requires compliance with licensing and background checks.
• Ability to work fixed shifts and pick up additional shifts through scheduling platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees while following site procedures.
• Conduct armed patrols of the retail location, parking areas, and perimeter to deter incidents.
• Respond to alarms and incidents calmly and professionally.
• Monitor access points and report observations per client procedures.
• Carry and maintain assigned equipment in compliance with laws and policies.
