Job summary

Stark Security Inc. in Chicago is seeking an Armed Security Officer for a full-time position. The role requires patrolling a fixed post, maintaining safety, and responding to incidents in River North, Chicago, IL.

The starting pay is $20 hourly with benefits including medical/dental, retirement, paid uniforms, and holiday pay. Work hours are Tue-Sat, 3pm–11pm, with a non-exempt status. Candidates should be prepared to obtain required licenses and pass background checks as part of the onboarding

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years old and a U.S. citizen.
• Be able to obtain a PERC license within 30 days of employment.
• Possess a valid FOID.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned property to prevent crime and enforce policies.
• Observe, report and act on conditions of crime and danger. Check buildings for security.
• Provide professional and credible testimony in a court of law.
• Prepare and write reports on arrests, incidents and daily activity.
• Provide excellence in customer service and create a positive experience for clients.
