Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer Driving Patrol in Denver, CO. You will provide security for transit facilities and riders, performing armed patrols, and delivering professional customer service.

The role requires an armed guard card/license, valid driver’s license, and adherence to shift schedules. You will report incidents, complete reports, and coordinate with law enforcement as needed. 21+ and a high school diploma are expected.

Qualifications

• State or local security license preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

As an Armed Security Officer supporting a public transit location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at transit facilities and surrounding property.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, vehicle access points, administrative areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable site procedures and use-of-force requirements.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, assist with crowd management during peak travel periods or special events, and report observed hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and daily logs; communicate relevant information to site representatives, dispatch, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
