What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with site leadership, emergency responders, and Allied Universal supervision as needed.


• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of aerospace and defense facilities, controlled areas, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.


• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and vehicle entry requirements in accordance with site-specific protocols.


• Maintain required qualifications for an armed post, carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws and company policies, and prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.


• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.


• A Guard Card/License is preferred.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
