Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer Patrol in San Antonio, TX. This role requires an active DoD Top Secret Clearance and a Texas Level III armed certification, with duties including patrolling, access control, and incident response.

You will provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors, monitor entry points, and document patrols and incidents for reporting to leadership. Full-time schedule and specific shift times are included.

Job Description

As a Armed Security Officer Patrol Top Secret Clearance Requiredin San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity. This is an armed post requiring an active DoD Top Secret Clearance and Level III Armed Certification in Texas.

Pay Rate: $26.53 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, observations, and/or unusual conditions accurately and promptly, communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Possess an active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
