Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Cleared Security Officer Armed in San Antonio, TX. The role involves patrolling aerospace/defense sites, maintaining a visible presence, and responding to incidents while following strict access-control protocols.

You will work Sat and Sun 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, carrying out customer service duties, and ensuring compliance with policy and safety requirements. A DoD Secret clearance and a Level III Texas Armed Guard Card are required.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Texas Level III Armed Guard Card.
• Minimum 21 years old for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location following site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; document activities per site procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of facilities, access points, and perimeter boundaries to deter unauthorized activity.
• Verify credentials and visitor requirements according to access-control procedures.
• Complete required reports and communicate observations to leadership.

Job Schedule:

• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, controlled-access areas, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, authorizations, and visitor requirements in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
• Maintain readiness and responsible control of assigned equipment, complete required reports, and communicate observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Guard Card in Texas.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
