Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer for morning bank shifts in Phoenix, AZ. In this part-time role you will patrol, deter incidents, and provide customer service at a financial institution, while maintaining a visible security presence.

You will follow site procedures, document incidents, and work with a team to ensure safety. The schedule includes Daytime Wed 08:30 AM–05:30 PM and Fri 08:30 AM–05:30 PM; pay is $24.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard and armed guard licenses preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Armed guard license preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution through security procedures and emergency responses.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following site procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of interior and exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry, reporting hazards and policy violations.
• Maintain accurate activity and incident reports and communicate with leadership and client contacts.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site-specific requirements, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Maintain accurate activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and designated client contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
