Allied Universal in Carrollton, TX is seeking an Armed Access Management Security Officer to safeguard a government location and manage access control procedures. You will verify credentials, monitor entry points, and provide professional customer service while maintaining a secure environment.

The role requires 1 year of armed security or related experience, an Armed Guard Card, and a clean background; CPR/First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

Pay Rate: $22.05 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM


• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM


• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM


• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM


• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.


• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, manage visitor access, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures.


• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.


• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and access-related activities while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.


• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.


• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.


• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
