Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Credential Verification in Balch Springs, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and respond professionally to evolving situations. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, maintaining a professional presence while handling sensitive financial institution operations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate armed response protocols and promptly reporting activity to designated personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience, preferred.
• Possess CPR and/or First Aid certification, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
