Allied Universal in Austin, TX is seeking a Security Officer Armed Access Control to safeguard clients in Tech/Media/Telecom and other sectors. The role involves monitoring, access control, and delivering exceptional customer service in a dynamic environment.

The position is full-time with a daytime shift and a pay rate of $30.00 per hour. Applicants must meet state licensing requirements and pass background and drug screenings where permitted by law.

Competenze

• Possess at least three years of experience as a military police officer, corrections officer, or armed security-related professional, or be a certified law enforcement graduate.
• Type at a minimum of 40 words per minute.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as per laws.
• Criminal histories considered with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Access Control in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, manage access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
