Allied Universal in Spring, TX is seeking a part-time Armed Security Officer to provide reliable site security with fixed shifts and the option to pick up additional shifts for more earnings.

Pay rate is $17.25 per hour. Applicants must be 21+, hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas, and a valid driver’s license. Schedule: Daytime Tue 11:00 AM - 05:00 PM. This role involves patrols, incident response, and customer service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter areas, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following applicable procedures.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities in accordance with site requirements.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
