Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Reception Access Coordinator in Austin, TX. You will welcome employees and visitors, support access control and badge processes, monitor entry activity, and provide professional customer service at a technology campus.

This full-time role requires 3+ years of security experience or a college degree, CPR/First Aid preferred, and strong computer skills.

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and guests at a technology campus.
• Staff the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify identification and appointments, and direct guests per access-control procedures.
• Monitor visitor management systems, access-control activity, cameras, alarms, and communications equipment; report issues.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and following established procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs and shift documentation.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $22.28 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and guests at a technology and media campus by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Staff the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify identification and appointments, and direct guests in accordance with access-control procedures.
• Monitor visitor management systems, access-control activity, cameras, alarms, and communications equipment; report unusual activity or system issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while providing clear information and assistance to the site community.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
