Job summary

Afognak Diversified Services, Inc., a company of Afognak Native Corporation, seeks part-time Armed Security Officers for a Miami location supporting a commercial aviation manufacturer. The role includes responding to incidents, safeguarding scenes, crowd control, and daily security duties at an aircraft assembly plant.

Candidates must be 21+, hold a HS diploma/GED, pass background and drug tests, and obtain licensing. Training, weapons handling, and security system familiarity are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pass criminal history background check.
• Must speak English fluently.
• Ability to learn new computer programs and applications.
• Must work weekends and holidays.
• Complete approximately 80 hours of company-provided training.
• Pass a drug screen.
• Complete and pass all company training including Baton, Defensive Tactics, and incident report writing.
• Driver's License if driving is required.
• Pass the Afognak Driver’s Safety Course.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with little supervision.
• Security Officer Guard State Licensing is required.
• Concealed Carry Permit required after hiring.
• Professional and customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Respond to a variety of calls and incidents.

• Conduct personnel, vehicular, and building checks.
• Provide First Aid and CPR as required.
• Complete reports and forms via electronic security systems.
• Be familiar with CCTV, access control, emergency notification systems, and mobile security apps.
• Safely maintain and qualify with assigned weapons; maintain grooming standards.
• Escort persons and equipment as needed; safeguard assets.
• Perform other assignments per SOPs.

POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Afognak Diversified Services, Inc a company of Afognak Native Corporation has opportunities for P/T Armed Security Officers. The role of the Armed Security Officer is afull-timeposition located in Miami, Floridain support of a commercial aviation manufacturer in support of an aviation assembly plant. The role includes but is not limited to a variety of security related duties.

• Responding to a variety of calls/incidents.
• Safeguard and secures all scenes.
• Performs crowd control when needed.
• Performs personnel, vehicular, and building facility checks.
• First Aid and CPR as required.
• Completes all required reports, forms, and other established procedures via electronic security applications.
• Must be familiar with various Security systems such as: CCTV’s, access control, emergency notification systems, and mobile security applications.
• Safely maintains and qualifies with assigned weapons, maintains uniform and grooming standards in accordance with company policies.
• Safeguards all assets, provides motorist assistance and escort persons and equipment as needed.
• Conducts other assignments in accordance with establishedSOP's.

$27.50 to $28.14 HourlyHourly Rate

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• Successfully pass a criminal history background investigation.
• Must Speak English fluently; read and comprehend written English.
• Must be capable of learning new computer programs and applications.
• Must be able to work various shifts, to include weekends and Holidays.
• Must be able to successfully complete approximately 80 hrs. of company provided training. (Classes are scheduled 7 days a week).
• Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen.
• Must be able to successfully complete and pass all company provided training; to include Expandable Baton, Defensive Tactics, and incident report writing.
• Must possess a Drivers License (If Driving is required).
• Must be able to successfully pass the Afognak Driver’s Safety Course.
• Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work with little supervision.
• Security Officer Guard State Licensing is required.
• Concealed Carry Permit is required after hiring.
• Must be professional and customer service orientated.
